We are the Mudfairies.
We spend our days in the WeepingWoods taking care of some of the "less fine"
points of nature.
Unlike those frilly little girls with their fancy wings,
we work in the dirt. Actually, we make the dirt, and mold,
and various types of fungus and such.
Maybe you've heard of Morrell
Mushrooms? That's our work! But mostly, we just gather twigs & branches &
dead leaves & such, pile them up, & jump up & down on them untill they turn
into new soil.
Ash
Ash usually deals with whatever is left behind after a forest fire,
turning pieces of burnt wood and ashes into new soil.
Muck
Muck spends most of his time down by the river, gathering up slimey, gooey
stuff and dead things, and stomping them into the dirt to make (you guessed it)
muck, that smelly brown stuff that lies at the rivers edge.
Ud
Ud spends most of his time with the things that are a little too slimey or foul
to be muck, or dirt. Like the fuzzy grey stuff that grows on the bottom of dead
logs, or that gooey stuff that runs down the trunks of old trees.
